Howboutthat is a channel of simple finance explainers. Each Short takes one money question, like why do bond prices fall when interest rates rise?, and answers it in about a minute with paper cut-out animation and a friendly voice.

The goal is the small “how ‘bout that” moment when a finance idea suddenly clicks. We explain how things work. We don’t tell you what to buy.

How we check the facts

Every number in a video comes from a source we can point to, usually a government agency or regulator like the SEC, FINRA, the IRS, the BLS or the Federal Reserve. Each Short’s page lists its sources. When an example uses made-up numbers to keep the math simple, we say so.
